Fair play mate - if Nolan starts it does move the goal posts a bit!

Re: Team Vs Bournemouth
Aren't the odds just a reflection of where the money is going?

If Nolan really is starting today, it will be 10 against 11 in a first paced passing game until he gets replaced...plus our clear first choice keeper is out and we have an iffy keeper on debut. We've no decent attacking back-up on the bench and our first and second choice support strikers are out injured.

By all accounts Bournemouth have been hard done by on both their matches so far, outright robbed vs Liverpool by the referee.

I fancy the draw...but I guess we'll see. Those odds look about right to me though.

Re: Team Vs Bournemouth
Of course long - we're playing against a newly promoted team who haven't scored in the first two games. We're established and a fairly big team who have won at Arsenal and should have taken a point last week. We've offered at the same odds as Norwich to beat Stoke. Stoke are better than Norwich and we are better than Bournemouth. Should be a max of 4/5 today - to be fair I can't hand on heart say I think we will win, but at those odds we are well worth a decent sized flutter.

El Scorchio

Having seen Payet play many times over the years, I can tell you that what you saw last week was pretty typical. He loves to drift in from the left.

Crazy odds for us today - 13/10 in a home game vs bournemouth!

Re: Team Vs Bournemouth
Payet spent too much time out on the left against Leicester, I thought. Didn't get on the ball half as much as I'd have liked in the first half.

Re: Team Vs Bournemouth
Payet mustn't play up front...he's our guy to make things happen and we need him on the ball as much as possible.

If anything he needs to play ever so slightly deeper and more central until Song is in the team feeding him the ball.

Once we have Obiang, Song, and Payet in central midfield we have quite the team of ball players.

If Nolan starts today, not expecting to see him play more than 45-50 mins...he's so ineffective.

Can see Lanzini being used this season for the last half hour when games are stretched and players tired.

Still think it's a shame Jarvis isn't in over Nolan if reports are true. Works harder, offers more on the ball, quicker, and maybe playing off Sakho looking for through balls could work for him. Not sure he's hugely worse/different to Valencia.

Re: Team Vs Bournemouth
Jesus H Christ Tomkins in midfield, this isn't at the Emirates and they certainly aren't Arsenal. If our midfield of Kouyate, Noble and Obiang can't deal with them then they shouldn't fucking be here period.

I see a score draw today, Sakho to get off his mark.

Do you really believe Mr Mohammad met an angel called Gabriel and that this angel provided Mo with the words of God?

Simple yes or no will do.

Bournemouth havent scored a goal yet, any predictions?

We're going to have to be careful today, they were unlucky against L'pool if we score early it's or game!

Even with injuries and suspensions, how refreshing is it to see this as opposed to Nolan, Cole and the like.

Re: Team Vs Bournemouth
Two things Stirling - Bournemouth are no mugs, they can play a bit. But it's not just about protecting the defense - Tomkins would provide a commanding presence in the centre of the park and would play a vital part in building attacks from the back.
